First unveiled during the label’s Fall/Winter 2025 presentation in Paris, Y-3 and the status-quo defying Japanese brand, NEIGHBORHOOD, have come together to officially launch their collaborative capsule collection – dubbed ‘Y-3 NEIGHBORHOOD’. Created in 1994 by Shinsuke Takizawa, NEIGHBORHOOD was born out of its founder’s admiration for the outlaw spirit of motorcycle subcultures in America and Japan. Compatriots and peers, throughout both of their respective careers, Yohji Yamamoto and Takizawa-san have continued to embrace a distinctly renegade spirit in their work. Now, the two trailblazers have united once again, alongside adidas, this time channeling the codes of moto to tell a story of how culture adopts the iconography of sport.
